I think it would be good idea to check into the possibilities of this. The financial aspect is always a consideration when considering something of this nature. 3. This sounds like it has the potential to cost a lot of money. I am a businessman and try to look at the entire picture, including the cost. Has anyone done any analysis on what it might cost to do something like this? 4. I believe the City should provide incentives to individuals and developers who intend to use energy conserving technology. No, as far as I know, there are already incentives in place from other levels of government. 5. I believe the City should purchase land to increase public green space. No. The city already does designate green space in developments. 6. I think that local government has a role in the protection of native flora and fauna. No answer 7. I believe the use of chemicals for cosmetic lawn and garden purposes contributes to human health problems. I have not seen any proof to substantiate this. 10. In recent years large corporations have taken over the grocery and stationery markets. Since large corporations have resulted in growing stress on local businesses, I believe City Council needs to take steps to stop this trend. No, the city benefits greatly in taxes paid by these large corporations and we need them. They also create jobs which is very important as well. |
